The event forms part of our celebrations marking 130 years of Psychology in Aberdeen, and our aim is to create something enjoyable, accessible, and engaging for the wider community.
For one evening, psychologists, neuroscientists, engineers and magicians will join forces to explore how the mind works through a range of interactive activities, including:
• Live magic performances by the Aberdeen Magical Society
• Mind-bending visual illusions
• Interactive psychology experiments
• Virtual reality demonstrations
• Robots with distinct personalities
• Live brain activity recordings
• Eyewitness identification challenges
• Human versus AI demonstrations
More than 60 researchers, students and performers will be involved throughout the evening, and the event is suitable for all ages.
