From 09:00 to 14:00 on 27 May 2026

There will be a temporary prohibition of driving on the southbound carriageway of Great Southern Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Whinhill Road and Riverside Drive.

There will also be the following temporary prohibition of waiting:

• Polmuir Road, east side, between Fonthill Road and Duthie Park entrance.
• Polmuir Road, both sides, between Duthie Park entrance and Riverside Drive.
• Murray Terrace, south side, between Polmuir Road and No.13 Murray Terrace.
• There will also be a prohibition of right turns from Polmuir Road onto Riverside Drive.
• An alternative route is available via Holburn Street, Riverside Place and Riverside Drive.

Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owner’s expense.

The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones.

The measure is necessary to protect public safety during the Big Sing event.
