Choose the Right E-Bike for Your Journey
Aberdeen's fleet includes two modern e-bike models, each designed to make cycling more accessible and enjoyable.
Explorer 4
The Explorer 4 is ideal for everyday journeys, offering a comfortable ride with a larger front basket, a soft saddle and simple adjustments to suit riders of different heights.
Explorer Light 1
Designed with accessibility in mind, the Explorer Light 1 is around 25% lighter than a standard e-bike, making it easier to handle while still providing the same reliable electric assistance.

- Create your account and add your payment details.
- Find a nearby bike using the app.
- Unlock your bike, enjoy your ride and park at an approved location when you've finished.

Affordable Ways to Travel
Voi offers flexible pricing to suit different types of journeys.
For Aberdeen residents, the Equitable Access Scheme provides discounted travel, including 20-minute rides for just £1.75. The scheme also supports a range of eligible users, including people on lower incomes, students, emergency service workers and other qualifying groups.
Whether you're making a quick trip across the city centre or replacing part of your daily commute, Voi makes cycling an affordable transport option.
Parking Made Easy
To help keep Aberdeen's streets safe and accessible, all journeys must begin and end at designated Voi parking bays.
These approved parking locations are clearly shown in the Voi app and are marked on the street. After every ride, you'll be asked to upload a photo of your parked bike to confirm it has been left correctly.
This helps keep pavements clear and ensures bikes are available where they're needed most.
Help Shape the Service
Voi continues to work closely with Aberdeen City Council and local communities to improve the service based on rider feedback.
If you have comments, suggestions or experience to share, you can contact the Voi support team at support@voi.com.
Suggest a New Parking Bay
Think your neighbourhood, workplace or favourite destination could benefit from a Voi parking location?
You can recommend new parking bays through Voi's Suggest a Parking Spot form or by contacting the support team. Every suggestion helps make the network more convenient for everyone travelling around Aberdeen.
